Yogathon is a day-long marathon of unique yoga classes. All proceeds from the event support yoga, mindfulness and meditation programs for underserved populations in Michigan. Space for the event has been generously donated by Katherine and Mike Wooley and Karma Yoga. The day’s festivities include classes led by master yoga instructors, a free yoga/meditation book exchange, class prizes, music, local vendors, mega raffle and gift bags for every participant - all in a festive atmosphere.

Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Called Yoga Chikitsa, yoga therapy, it realigns the spine, detoxifies the body and builds strength, flexibility and stamina. The class will be taught in the traditional manner with the vinyasa count and postures in Sanskrit.
